I thought this scene went pretty well. The idea for this is that when the player entered a collider on a sphere in the ground, a zombie would zoom towards you. I did not have much difficulty in accomplishing this. The only issue I had with the Playmaker logic was that I used the wrong iTween action (“look towards”, not “move to”). Also, I downloaded the zombie off of Mixamo, so you had to apply the texture after you dropped it into the scene. This took a while to figure...
I had a lot of trouble with this scene. My original plan was to take my scene from Assignment 4 and make a couple of the objects interactive. This was incredibly difficult. Theoretically, when I entered the collider for a sphere in the ground, a robot was supposed to approach a soldier, causing the soldier to run away. The soldier’s action would be triggered by the robot entering its collider. When I exited the cube collider, the robot would return to its original position. In practice, when the robot entered...

My Unity scene involves my good friend Ranger. We were surviving in the post apocalyptic world until one day he got bit and turned into a zombie. Even though he was a zombie, Ranger still wanted to play some of his favorite games. In the scene you can see me paying checkers and then racing against him to the finish line. Enjoy!

My Unity world is a forest maze. There are one obstacle blocking the way out and two hints that help gamers to get out of the maze. In the beginning, “I” encounter a huge rock blocking the way so moving to the tree triggers the rock to move aside. Then “I” asked a solider for help when “I” come across an intersection. Finally, “I” notice a girl who hides behind a tree, and want to ask for help again. However, she runs off at one direction as I approach her,...

I decided to build upon my farm scene from my last assignment. In the scene, when the player walks up to the town, a spaceship takes a cow and flies away, before returning back to the original position. I also downloaded an Elvis texture and walking animation from Mixamo. While the cow is being abducted, he saunters (because he has to stay in character) to protect his other cow, which he clearly likes better. I suppose in this story he has become exiled from his partying life in Vegas and...

In this newest edition of my world, I made it so that there's the captain of the army who makes first contact with the large alien farm animals. He walks halfway while the spaceship directly goes to the front of the sheeps face. I had a lot of fun finding the animations on Mixamo and i found it challenging to stick them into the program and add the skins, but once I found out where all those buttons were, it was easy to make the whole thing come together. I...

I made a scene in Unity of a beach! The beach is lined with palm trees and colorful umbrellas. I also put down some boogie boards to show what the people of the beach can use in the water. There is also a fisherman and his boat in the water and he caught some fish. Also, a giant whale for the beach people to see and swim with. I really enjoyed playing around with unity and I can now see that it can be used for great things. I really wish...
