Assignment 6- Flavin

Completing Assignment 6 was relatively simple. In order to make sure I did the job correctly, I went on YouTube and found some simple, short tutorials on how to attach sound to a specific object in Unity. For all of my assignments, I have been building off of the Campfire assignment from weeks ago. The Mixamo character and my 3D model were added in subsequent assignments. Because the campfire is still in this Unity project, I decided to add the sound effect of a campfire. So I went on Soundcloud and downloaded a free, six-minute audio clip of a campfire crackling. I attached it to the campfire using the tutorials. To make the landscape not seem so bland, I added grassy hills and a lake. When I hit "Play," I could hear the campfire crackling. My Mixamo character also stepped forward and disappeared into the ground when I approached her, just like in that particular assignment. Mission accomplished. Or so I thought. When I decided to hit the "Build and run" button" to make the project a WebGL, after a long processing period, my computer crashed. I just can't seem to catch a break with these things, can I? I completed the assignment before midnight on Friday, even with all of the mixed messages about the due date (there was a rumor that the assignment had been moved to Monday at 10 a.m.), as a just-in-case. But, with the crashing of my computer and my desire to not damage the computer with another crash, it looks like my date with handing it in is closer to the rumored Monday.
