Assignment 2: 360 Video Pitch
Trang Tran
Concept:
It is the post-human architecture that we are entering. In the digital age, we will see our surroundings not through the naked eyes, but through a layer of digital information embedded and visualized by technologies. Spaces, buildings and cities will be perceived through camera lens, sensor, or scanner. They identify a scene or an object by searching for predefined relationships, patterns or geometries. The physical existence of signage and billboard will no longer be necessary. In this context, we need to start imagining a new design that can be understood by both human and machine. For this project, I want to create a narrative explaining how augmented reality (AR) technology changes the relationship between signage and building.
The story will be told in a VR environment through first person perspective.
