I had some experience of VR before, thus it was very interesting to compare one with the new one I've got in the lab.
Before the class, I used Samsung Gear VR and simple cardboard only. And, of course, after trying Oculus Rift and HTC VIve, I don't want to come back to that experience.

Oculus and Vive are far the best systems I've ever tried. The quality of the image, the ability to move in the VR space gives absolutely another level of experience. In general, only two these systems can give you the opportunity of fully immerse.

Another big topic is the Oculus software for drawing. I was shocked because of perspectives I saw that moment for the whole fine art (don't even saying about architecture, manufacturing, teaching, medicine...). The future is right next door for us.

The most annoying part of using Oculus and Vive for me are cables which you should think about while experiencing something. Looking forward to having top level wireless systems.

Samsung Gear is wireless, but the quality of a picture is much worse, and I became tired after a few short documentaries.

But in comparison to cardboards, Samsung is a kind of paradise, for sure. Of course, cardboards are absolutely affordable for the most amount of people, which is really cool for the industry...

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this course to be able not only to explore VR but to create one by myself!
