I learnt how to create a nadir to cover the tripod in 360 videos, how to use Unity and Maya together, and the workflow of making spatial audio.

Nadir is really useful when it comes to filming of 360 videos because there is nowhere that the audience can't see. We need to find a way to hide the stuff that take them away from the story. Nadir is a really helpful tool to do that and I used it for both of the 360 videos I made this semester.

I used some assets I made in Maya from another class in some of the Unity assignments. It's really cool to watch and see the assets that I built in headsets.

I guess ambisonics recording is the most exciting thing that I learnt outside of class. I'm taking Doug's class this semester so I was going to the workshop anyway. But actually utilize the Seinnheiser recorder allows me to see the potential when 360 videos are paired with spatial audio. Right now I don't think Adobe Audition can edit multitrack multichannel audio but I hope someday they will have this feature. That will allow us more freedom to create higher quality content.
