Here is my final project - Panotour of the High Line Public Park in the New York City!

The park itself is a great example of renovating and creating public spaces using old industrial constructions. Videos are pretty good, light is nice, but at the same time - no voiceover and storytelling. Let me tell you why.
First of all, I decided to make an ordinary 360 video with the voiceover of park staff and local activists and park stuff. Staff and activists appeared extremely unresponsible. At then I learned that 360 videos can be integrated in Unity 2017, and the idea to use both main skills I've got from this class (360 videos/Unity) to combine a real-life experience with some interaction made with PlayMaker.
To my huge surprise, I was able to do it! After hours of research, I understood how to play 360 videos in Unity, build a logic of moving between scenes etc. (the whole process is described in the Youtube video below.)

Everything worked fine... but I couldn't export Unity project properly. Mirriads of mistakes as a result. There are a lot of possible reasons for it, including the old version of PlayMaker, weak laptop and so on. I still believe that it is possible to deal with all that mistakes and I do my best to finish my Unity experience via brake. Anyway, I failed it for now.
It was a great learning experience for me. Now I know:
- How to deal with 360 video in Unity
- How to use PlayMaker to switch between scenes
Ant the most important lesson for me was: if you want to do VR - you HAVE to learn coding. Looking forward to!
