The project includes a trial and similar modeling to the scene in the show "Stranger Things" that depicts the upside down and the monster at the end. The scene begins at the house with a spot-lit trailer in front of the player, as they move through the credit sequence a hut becomes visible in the distance and their heart starts pounding. Upon entering the house, the player hears an eery call for "mommy" from a child's voice. As the voice get's louder toward the other side of the path, the user is driven to the final stage of the sequence, triggering a monster to run out of the forest toward them. THat's the end of the experience, but the user is welcome to walk around after it has ended and explore more.
Our project has proven to be highly difficult as we have encountered more errors than we are sure how to edit. We also can not include our main asset, the house, that we purchased even using the more updated Unity Program.
The other main thing we were trying to do, picking up the flashlight and walking with it, required coding that we are not experienced enough to deal with. As a result we altered that idea and and created a spot light on our title sequence.
The only part that we were able to do successfully, without issue, was to create and add things to our basic terrain, and sound effects--though triggering sound in certain areas came to be tricky as well--sometimes the sounds would "Play on Awake" even if unchecked and required some playing around.
Because we built our experience, in 5.3. and OVR does not support that version of Unity, we are not able to upload it. We are saving our Project File in a Folder on the Mac on the Innovation Lab titled: strangerthingsschiffzoffer.
We are also uploading a walkthrough to Youtube that is attached.
