The purpose of this 360 video was to simulate the drunkenness of a person on a party. We were five group members which had different strength. Because of the diverse team, we could split the tasks and learn from each other.

I was responsible to set up a story board which showed the different content as well as the duration of the scenes. After setting it up, we met to shoot the video on Friday. Everybody were there and we shot the video together. The day after, we met in the Innovation Lab to stitch the video. Our responsible producer, Jason, began to stitch but Anna and me were able to try it as well. We had some issues while stitching to de-ghost some parts of the video. To find the solution we tried to edit the video in Giga which was a kind of a challenge because we haven’t used Giga before and found the solution on our own. As we had the solution, we found that it is more real when we add the ghosting again because we want the user to experience the drunkenness. So we edited it back. Another problem, we figured out, was with one of our scenes. We wanted to let the user wake up in his bed and tried to attached the camera on Jason's head in the bed. As we looked at it, we noticed that everything around the camera was to near and we couldn't stitch it. So we needed to cancel the scene. We learned that we need to have more distance between the camera and the objects around it. A second problem is, that when the 'person' says Good Bye and leaves, the user sees Jason crawling away. We talked about inserting a nadir spot to that but we decided to let it like this, because it is more real than a moving nadir spot.

As I have a little bit experience in Premiere, I tried to help, but our expert showed us how it is done and explained it very well. In the end, I created the nadir image in PowerPoint and flattened it in Autopano and Giga, so that Luke could insert it in Premiere easily.

In conclusion, the teamwork was great and I am very proud of our video. I figured out, where I have to improve myself (Premiere) and what works really good for me (Autopano and Giga).
