For my Independent Learning Assignment, I wanted to learn more about Adobe Premiere and how to use it more effectively when video editing. Being an iSchool student I have not spent any of my time working on editing videos especially with Adobe Premier. The only video editing experience that I have would be from high school using iMovie. This became a challenge for me going into this course and I wanted to really learn for to use Adobe Premiere. I found a course on Lynda about the editing basics of Adobe Premiere and I took that. It was pretty standard but taught me a good base knowledge. I wanted to dig deeper so I took an intermediate level course and this one was very challenging. I had to retake it about 3 times to actually grasp all that the video was teaching me. I will use this knowledge that I gained on my final project to better edit my video and make it crisper and cleaner. I think that this will make my project stand out and not be a terribly edited video.
