Schedule

5:15–6:00 : Meet at Cage for gear overview

6:00–7:00 : Break up into project 3 groups

7:00–8:00 : Meet in innovation lab and stitch our fist

While you’re waiting, meet some of the stars from previous VR Storytelling classes.


 

In-class Assignment

With your new rig shoot the following:

  1. Shoot video and cross the stitch lines at 5 feet
  2. Shoot video and cross the stitch lines at 10 feet
  3. Shoot video and cross the stitch lines at 20 feet
  4. Shoot without movement, just an environmental
  5. Shoot with main subject close within 1 cameras field of view (FOV), 7–10 feet max, not crossing a stitch line

 


 

Notes for next class

We'll be stitching your remaining test clips you shot last Wednesday during class and going over the rules for using AVP in the labs. If you have managed to already stitch those do not fear, we'll have some test footage to work with.

Project 3: You have until Wednesday, February 18 to complete your proposed scene. Remember to revise your pitch on the class blog, simplify it to one scene and don't forget about recording some solid audio!

Winning Revised pitch: Please leave your original text in your blog post and copy/paste/edit your revised idea directly below your first concept.
