First Unity Experience

After a battle of wills with technology, I have successfully completed assignment 5...and I have to say, it was a lot cooler and more rewarding than I ever thought it would be. Just when I was finally starting to grasp 360 video, we were moving on to something else and I felt lost early on, having had no experience with Unity prior to this assignment. I really enjoyed getting the hang of using the controls, and adding my own touch to the piece. My only regret is that I was racing against the clock the whole time on account of having to restart the assignment multiple times due to unity problems. The system did not like me for quite a while.
I wish I had been able to add more assets--I kind of had a medieval battle royale going, and was really starting to get into the creating a thematic conflict for my new world. I would've liked to add some animation to my knights and to the tanks I created.
I had trouble initially with the skybox, and at the end with the "compiler error" message that kept popping up, but I was able to delete all my corrupted assets and figure it out just in time. Overall, I'd say the experience was a good one, and I'd love to continue to learn more.
