Erika Zoffer

My experience at the Syria event was enlightening and powerfully impactful. From the personal narratives that were told to the explanations of the larger political conflict, the speakers did a great job of making the audience feel connected to these events. As  a member of the human race, we should all be doing our part for the greater good but the speakers talked directly to us as future media makers and journalists. The skills we have here have given us the unique opportunity to draw attention to global atrocity and this ability gives us a sort of responsibility. At the actual event, I listened, help set up VR camera, uploaded video, and helped to pack up and return equipment.
