Assignment 5 – Interactive Unity Scene, Audra Linsner

Here is my interactive Unity scene. I have two triggers, the first which triggers multiple objects, and the second which is supposed to trigger a sound. I can't figure out how to play that sound overtop of the one that I attached to the terrain, but the skeleton does make a sound, I swear. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Z9dGP0HAmwc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Kyle Slyva Assignment 4: First Unity Experience

This was only the second time I had worked with unity so I am definitely still a beginner, but I do find the interface a lot less challenging than I expected. I do have a bit of experience working with 3D software which might have helped by already being familiar with the these types of interfaces. Everything that I tried in this attempt went relatively smoothly. The tree and grass creator tool was very straightforward and definitely helped speed up the creation of a more realistic scene. The most difficult part...

Assignment 4: Create a scene in Unity-Anqi Yuan

Anqi Yuan I planed to create a simple scene about small village in the forest in unity. I use different textures like rock and grass to make a terrain. I also add different trees on it to make the forest. It works well. At first, I try to add some grass on the ground, but it doesn’t look good. I think I need to work on it. Maybe try more grass texture. I added two wood houses and some farm objects like cart, firewood and boxes, and they all look...

Mulcahy- Assignment 4

For my first scene my goal was to try and make some Fantasy type of Scene since we were running on a video game engine. In my head I just wanted to have a decently detailed world with a few characters and buildings, however I found Unity to be incredibly difficult and not at all user friendly. When I was originally coming into Unity I found it to be enjoyable because it seemed like all you needed to do was find assets already made and place them in but whenever...

Audra Linsner Assignment 4

My video Unity and I are not friends. We fought the entire time I built this assignment. I did, however, end up learning a lot. My scene is a mountainous forest. It’s a short little maze with a wise, large horse midway through, and a tavern at the end. It has a wispy skybox, and was supposed to be surrounded by ambient forest sounds (more on that later). What worked: Copying/pasting trees, multiple at a time, which helped save time and made it look a little bit better. Also, organizing...

Assignment 4-Secret Lake

This is the first time that I do work using Unity. It's a really new and fresh experience, and I learned a lot during the editing. The most challenging part was the 3D sound. I was going to make listeners able to hear the sound of river when they come close to the boat, and they cannot hear outside the mountains. Finally I did it by chance but I was still not sure what exactly I did. Also, the video exported has a really loud footstep sound. The footstep even cover...

Assignment 03: Creepy Dinner – Tony Yao

Video Link: https://youtu.be/m0fLvTi9V-I My job: Director   Early preparation: We had several meetings on what kind of video do we really want to film. At first, we are trying to make a creepy family dinner movie. However, when it comes to finding actors and actresses, things got really difficult. We might not able to find perfect actors and actresses for the story. Instead, we changed this to a roommate finding movie. Also, the most parts we thought of includes camera angles and lighting. We agree that it might be a...

Assignment #3 Dog Park

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkZdE5NCCJY Video Producers: Gabriel Acosta, Audra Lisner, Jesse Valgora, Nadia Persaud Original Concept The scene of my video will be a large, open space with the camera at sitting level. The video will be taken outdoors during the day, and there will be some movement near and far from the camera. I plan on the setting being at an off-leash dog beach in Jamesville. I'll be recording audio of the dogs running around and playing with a separate microphone. I hope to virtually transport the viewer into a stress-relieving environment...

Assignment 3: Women’s Syracuse Soccer- 360 Video Joachim/Mosan

Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XW-yohrc3c&feature=youtu.be Original Concept: My 360 Video idea is to put the camera on a soccer field to capture the Women’s Soccer Team. I want to convey the feeling of the starting formation before the game when they are warming up and stretching. In addition, I also want to display the feeling of the bench players, the coach and of course the crowd. To do this, I'll split the video into several scenes: Scene One -  Warming Up ◦ Camera Position - Position the camera on the grass where the players perform the...
