Bad example of shooting 360-degree camera

On the team project, our team wanted to shoot the dancing team in the Carrier dome. First, we set up the camera right above the ‘S’ mark in the center of the dome.
As you might know, the process of how the 6 cameras are stitching fundamentally is that they find the similarity between two cameras.
However, if there are many similarities, the computer can not detect it properly because they are not human. Thus, this below picture is what I got from the stitching work.
Therefore, the Autopano programs found the wrong matching points because S mark is same up and down, and also dome ceiling is all same patterns. If it is problem, you can usually go to Autopano giga and manually fix the link between two cameras. However, it takes so much time to do it.
You have to delete some of the wrong connection between the cameras and make it connecting by all manually. Finally, if you click the optimal button to make it clear. Then, it shows the connection status (Green is finding high similarities).
I spent the 5 hours to fix it right. Finally, I got the completed video. The reason why I post the story is that I hope you do not have the same problem like me. The life is trial and error, but you can avoid if you know the cause. Have a nice day 🙂
