For my final VR project I went through a couple of ideas before I settle on filming a band practice for “These Walls”. I originally pitched to film the top of St. Regis Mountain in the Adirondacks but when it came to filming on my scheduled date it snowed. Considering that the hike would be 3 miles with equipment was going to be hard enough, snow wasn’t going to make things easier, so I went back to the drawing board. My idea is simple. I'm going to hike to the top of my favorite mountain in the Adirondacks and capture the amazing view. Some challenges might include carrying the camera equipment up the mountain. And then I'll have to make sure all the batteries are charged because it would be unfortunate to hike 6 miles and then not have a camera work. For audio, I was thinking of asking a local artist in the Adirondacks to produce a song for the film or having a narrative of an Adirondack local.

Unity is super cool but definitely not my friend. I don’t think that I have completely wrapped my head around the dimensions and how to build in 3D yet.
