While creating my project I quickly realized I needed to learn how to transport the player throughout the scene on trigger. Initially, I thought you would be able to simple do this by creating an FSM on the first person controller and creating I Tween between different objects scattered throughout the scene. I quickly found out that was not the case. I began researching how to transport a character throughout a Unity scene. I came across multiple blogs and forums that suggested doing the opposite of what I was trying....
Dakota Access Pipeline in Unity- Final VR Project

For my final VR project, I wanted to recreate a timeline of the Dakota Access Pipeline situation in Unity. I am a broadcast major and this issue has not been getting a lot of news coverage until recent events and I thought that it would be different and informational to recreate difference scenes of the pipeline construction and protests to give viewers a better understanding of what the issue is and what is actually going on over there. When I began I quickly realized that I was too ambitious in...

After days of research and trial and error I have finally found a way to transport the First Person Controller camera instantly within in a scene without having to use code. Step by step directions: Create a cube or any 3D asset and apply a collider with trigger (will be Cube 1) Create a second object to be the destination point (will be Cube 2) Add playmaker FSM to Cube 1 Within Playmaker: State 1 = Trigger enter State 2 = Finished and Trigger Exit In Finished state add action browser...

For my final product I am going to create different scenes at the Dakota Access Pipeline through Unity. I think this is a very controversial topic right now and being able to immerse yourself into the situation would allow for a different perspective and a greater understanding of the current situation. final-project-pitch [slideshare id=69102103&doc=finalprojectpitch-161116152350]

I have created a scene with a character from mixamo with a walking animation. I have him walking from the road block to the car then to the home and back. While making the scene I struggled with having the man glitch while he walks and I still haven't been able to figure out how to make him walk smoothly.

I added Playmaker into my lake scene from the previous assignment. I have the boat and boat engine sound triggered by a cube on the dock. I added a treasure chest to the island in the middle of the lake which opens and closes as you approach the box. The scene can be found on the link below.
Prager Assignment 5

For my first VR scene in Unity I wanted to recreate a mountain/lake experience. Growing up I had a mountain house on a lake and the experiences I had while at this house shaped my childhood. As I began I quickly to realize how difficult Unity is in regards to how even the smallest checked button make biggest impact on editing, my scene had to be simplified. I wanted to create a wider mountain range where I could put the homes within the mountains, but I had difficulty shaping the...
Assignment 4 – Crouse Bell Tower

https://youtu.be/YjQcdx01LfA Our group project was to document the Bell Masters of Crouse at work. During our first shoot of exterior shots, it seemed the project would run smoothly…then we went to editing. After strategically planning out four different viewpoints of Crouse from various parts of campus, only one clip ended up being stichable. One time, one of the cameras stopped recording halfway through so we lost that scene. Another time the times didn't match up and for the other scene, we still don’t know what happened with it, but when...
Assignment 2 360 Video Pitch

I am proposing to create a 360 video of the waterfall and the summit of Tinker Falls. There are multiple scenes to be filmed, one being the waterfall itself which is a rather big water fall compared to others in the area. Another scene is the summit clearing at the top of the hike that overlooks the nearby lake and surrounding trees. The view in my opinion is breathtaking. The project is outdoors and I would suggest the lighting for this project to be either early in the morning near...
